CMA CGM to Increase North America Rates

CMA CGM will hike rates for dry and refrigerated cargo on its trade from India and Pakistan to the U.S. East Coast, starting March 15. The hike will be $320 per 20-foot container, $400 per 40-foot container and $450 per 40-foot high-cube container.

Effective April 1, the ocean container carrier will increase rates on dry and reefer cargo from North Europe to the U.S. East Coast, Canada and Mexico by $250 per 20-foot container and $350 per 40-foot container.

The French company will also hike rates on dry cargo from the Mediterranean to the U.S. East Coast by $250 per 20-foot container and $350 per 40-foot container, effective April 15.
