“K” Line added a weekly service called Jaseco-K connecting South Korea, the Philippines and Indonesia as a slot operator.
The Japanese carrier said it aims to expand the service coverage between South Korea and the Straits area with this direct service.
“K” Line’s announcement of the new service follows the announcement by Evergreen Line of a new intra-Asian service designed to meet growing regional demand for vessel capacity.
The port rotation of the service is Xingang, Pyeongtaek, Busan, Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Busan, Incheon and back to Xingang. The service will start on Nov. 7 with the arrival of the City of Shanghai in Xingang.
