The World Trade Organization today launched International Trade and Market Access, an interactive tool that presents WTO data on merchandise and commercial services trade, as well as selected market access indicators from the publication World Tariff Profiles.
The tool can be accessed through the WTO’s website and is presented in the form of interactive maps, charts and data tables using arrows and pop-up boxes to depict trade flows and to provide supplementary information. Users can export the data underlying the graphics.
Among other things, it reveals the leading trading countries by commodity, group, sector and year; shows the evolution of trade between a selected country, region or grouping and a particular partner; displays market statistics for goods by country or customs territory, and provides information on the WTO’s membership and participation in projects.
