Michael McGlaughlin Joins Secor Group as Director of International Logistics

WASHINGTON, July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Secor Group, a Washington, D.C.-headquartered global logistics, mobility and relocation company, today announced that industry veteran Michael McGlaughlin has joined the organization. As the new Director of International Logistics, McGlaughlin will serve a vital role in expanding Secor Group's International Logistics operation out of the company's Dulles, Va. office.

McGlaughlin previously served as the director for Kamino International Transport (recently renamed Tigers [USA] Global Logistics), where he worked for 20 years. During his time with the company, McGlaughlin spearheaded the expansion of what was a start-up company into a thriving enterprise that generated up to $12M in annual sales revenue. His role included securing major accounts and managing all phases of shipping and delivery by leveraging an extensive network of global contacts.

Earlier in his career, McGlaughlin served as sales manager at Panalpina, Inc., a provider of supply chain solutions, where he managed large sales and operations teams and supported initiatives to expand into global markets.

McGlaughlin earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Business and Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park. He lives in Rockville, Md. where he is an active member of various amateur sports teams and an outdoor enthusiast.
