Supply chain management company Descartes Systems Group today reported that income in the third quarter of fiscal year 2013, ending Oct. 31, was $3.1 million, surging 15 percent from $2.7 million in the third quarter last year and 24 percent from $2.5 million in the second quarter.
Quarterly revenue was $32.7 million, increasing 15 percent from $28.5 million in the third quarter of fiscal year 2012 and 7 percent from $30.5 million in the previous quarter.
For the nine-month period ending Oct. 31, net income was $8.2 million, up 9 percent from $7.5 million compared to the same period a year ago. Year-to-date revenue was $93.1 million, a 10 percent increase year-over-year from $84.4 million.
