Third-party logistics provider England Logistics recently acquired certain assets of the Portland, Ore.-based warehousing and freight management company Kampstra Transportation and Logistics to expand services to brokerage customers in the Northwest and throughout the U.S.
Shaun Beardall, previously director of container operations, will become general manager of England Logistics, overseeing the integration of the new office and working to expand its full service freight brokerage offerings.
All Kampstra employees will join England Logistics, including Jim Kampstra, who will serve as national account manager.
