Dutch customs recently granted C.H. Robinson Europe BV Authorized Economic Operator certification, meaning the company is regarded as a reliable trade partner.
The certificate permits clients of the freight forwarder to benefit from advantages in customs procedures such as prior notification for import and export exams, priority treatment in the event of a cargo exam and fewer physical exams and document reviews.
Customs handling will be smoother because the company can now obtain permits and licenses much faster with the certificate, said Bob Van Leeuwen, C.H. Robinson Europe’s project manager.
