Kuehne + Nagel Australia has signed a logistics contract with a leading provider of fiber optic and copper product solutions used in telecommunications networks.
The five-year deal with Corning Cable Systems Australia will see K+N deliver end-to-end management of CCS’s 60,000-square-foot facility in Melbourne. Services will include inbound receipt, storage, deliveries to manufacturing plants, inventory management and reverse logistics.
“Additionally, Kuehne + Nagel will manage inbound freight forwarding responsibilities for Corning Cable Systems Australia,” K+N said.
