Pantos Logistics recently opened a second logistics center at South Korea's Incheon airport, the world’s fourth largest cargo airport by volume in 2010.
Bae Jae-Hoon, CEO of the South Korea-based third-party logistics company, said the 45,000 square-foot facility is adjacent to its existing facility built in 2005 and will enable to the company to offer some 105,000 square-foot of capacity to customers, making it the largest operator in Incheon airport’s free trade zone.
“Pantos Logistics’ second Incheon Logistics Centre has all the most advanced facilities for storage, packaging and high valued products, and also its own customs system, which will lead to increased activities in obtaining 3PL air export and import freights," said Jae-Hoon.
Cargo throughput at the airport in 2011 fell 6.2 percent year-over-year to 211,752 metric tons, according to airport statistics.
