Grupo Mexico Profit Up for Fourth Quarter, Down for Year

Mexico City-based mining corporation Grupo Mexico reported net income in the fourth quarter of 2012 was $724.8 million, jumping 22.6 percent from $591.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.

For the full year of 2012, the company reported profit was $2.4 billion, falling 3.5 percent from $2.5 billion in 2011.
