The Portuguese government has shortlisted five bidders for the privatization of its airport operator, ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal SA, after receiving proposals of up to 2.6 billion euros (about US $9.2 billion), Dow Jones Newswires reported.
Bids came from Vinci, a French construction company and highway operator; Flughafen Zuerich, a Swiss airport operator; Fraport, a German airport operator; Corporacion America, an Argentinian airport operator, and Odinsa, a Colombian infrastructure company.
The companies must present binding offers by mid-December.
