DHL recently expanded its GOGREEN environmental services with the addition of two new carbon reporting services, Carbon Estimate and Carbon Footprint, for U.S. importers and exporters.
Carbon Estimate is a forecast service that provides customers with an estimate of their CO2 footprint for the most recent three month time period, based on global average carbon emission factors.
Carbon Footprint is a measuring service that provides customers with their CO2 footprint emissions at trade lane, product, mode of transport, account and shipment level for a calendar year, to help them with baseline carbon reduction target setting decisions.
