Yang Ming (America) Corp. Appoints New President
Effective October 15, 2012, Yang Ming (America) Corp. (YMA) President and CEO, Mr. Spring C.C. Wu, will be assigned to serve as the President of Yang Ming Line’s general agent in China, located in Shanghai. The announcement was made by a spokesperson at YM’s Taiwan headquarters noting that this job rotation is initiated to maintain and maximize YM’s administrative proficiency.
Replacing Mr. Wu as President will be Mr. Wenjin Lee, who is currently the Senior Vice President of Equipment Management and Intermodal at YMA’s North American headquarters in Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Lee has been with YMA for 24 (twenty-four) years after serving 10 (ten) years with YM Headquarters in Taiwan.
Mr. Spring C.C. Wu served at the top position at YMA for the past eleven (11) years. Previously, Mr. Wu was the Executive Vice President at the company’s headquarters in Taiwan, and has been with the Yang Ming group since 1978.
Yang Ming is an independent, global, containerized cargo carrier.
