NEW YORK, Aug. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Traffic Club of New York (TCNY) announces four additions to its Board of Directors:

Lisa Wheldon – Director, National Accounts and Container Sales – JAXPORT

Ms. Wheldon joined JAXPORT in 2010 as Director, National Account and Container Sales. She has more than 20 years of transportation and logistics experience, previously serving as Director of International Sales for Florida East Coast Railway. She began her career in intermodal trucking and over the span of two decades worked in customer service for SeaLand; managed inland operations for Sea Star Line and was responsible for international customer service, pricing and inside sales for CSX Intermodal. She is a native of Savannah, GA and a Jacksonville resident since 1996. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of business administration with an emphasis on transportation and logistics. She earned a master of business administration from the University of Phoenix in 2002.

Carroll E. Neville – Group Manager National Accounts – Norfolk Southern Corporation

Mr. Neville leads NS's Domestic Intermodal Marketing Team responsible for sales/marketing coverage of their intermodal retail and manufacturing customer base. He joined the company in August of 2008 as a Market Manager in the International Marketing Group and has held his current position since September of 2013. He has 24 years of experience in the domestic and international transportation industry. Prior to joining NS he worked for Maersk Line for 18 years, holding sales management positions in locations throughout the US, Hong Kong and Denmark. He attended the University of Vermont where he earned his B.A. in Political Science and Economics. He has attended the Executive Course at the Darden School of Business and Cranfield School of Management. He is also a member of the executive committee for the Supply Chain Leaders in Action (SCLA).

James E. Mercante Partner at New York law firm Rubin, Fiorella & Friedman LLP

Mr. Mercante heads Rubin, Fiorella & Friedman's admiralty and transportation practice. A graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, he has sailed as a merchant marine officer. He has been a member of the New York Board of Commissioners of Pilots for 20 years and is a retired Captain in the Navy Reserve with 20 years of service. A resident of Long Beach, NY, he also serves on the Board of Governors of the New York Athletic Club and writes the Admiralty Law column for the New York Law Journal and "Sea Trials" column for Long Island Boating World. He is called upon as a maritime law expert on Channel 5 (Fox) in New York.

William A. Rowe – Corporate Account Manager – GATX Corporation

Mr. Rowe joined GATX Corporation in 2001 as Corporate Account Manager with responsibility for railcar leasing in the eastern region of the US. Prior to GATX Corporation, he worked for Rhodia, Inc. and Rhône-Poulenc, Inc. for ten years, of which the last six years were managing a fleet of approximately 1,200 railcars. He also worked for Olin Corporation for five years with responsibility for package design, testing and procurement. He is a graduate of Rutgers University, College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sciences & Package Engineering.
