Boston, MA – Shipco Transport, one of the leading neutral NVOCC’s in the United States, will introduce the first neutral direct intact consolidation services from Shanghai and Ningbo, China to Boston.

Shipco, being less than one year old in the Boston market, plans to further develop its presence in the region by adding more direct service solutions both for import and export. “The new services are the first neutral service solution from the two origins for New England importers. Now our customers in the region can take advantage of reduced transit times and minimized cargo handling,” commented Tadas Petronis, General Manager Shipco Boston.

Shipco’s Shanghai to Boston service will be in connection with carrier Hanjin leaving on Thursdays with a transit time of 31 days. The first sailing will be on October 27. Shipco offices at both ends will also allow customers full visibility of their shipments. The Ningbo to Boston service has a transit time of 30 days and is with carrier Cosco sailing on Fridays. The service will kick off with a first sailing on October 28.

The neutral NVO now offers 22 direct services from Shanghai and 17 from Ningbo into the US and Canada.
