Qingdao Hosts 2012 China Port Economy Summit
Global economy is recovering increasingly while the industrial transfer becomes more and more obviously both home and abroad. How to transform economic growth mode and adjust economic development structure has become a top concern of a new round economy boom. Therefore, China Ports & Harbors Association is to hold the 2nd China Port Economy Summit together with People’ s Municipality of Qingdao City on May 16th -17th.
The theme of the summit targets at: Transformation, Breakthrough, and Increasing. Ministry of Transport, National Development and Reform Commission, D & R center of State Council, Research Department of State Council; port cities; the research and consulting institution and other organization both home and abroad; famous companies and experts are invited to make discussion on sustainable development paths of the industrial chain, and on how to develop port economy stably and fast, and on how the port economy promote the local economy.
About 500 main leaders from port cities, port & shipping administration of local government, shipping companies, port companies, logistics companies, wharfs, administrative committee of port economy zone, project planning, design, and construction units, bonded ports, economic development zone or logistics park, dry ports, railway stations operation and research institutions, equipment suppliers, IT solution providers, TNCs and manufacturing industry, resource-based enterprises, investment and financing services, industry experts and scholars will come to Qingdao that day.
