OOCL on Monday christened its newest vessel, the OOCL Seoul, the 14th SX vessel in OOCL’s line of 16 SX class vessels with capacities of 8,063 20-foot units that it has ordered from Samsung Heavy Industries.
The OOCL Seoul, which was christened in ceremonies at Samsung's Geoje Shipyard in South Korea, will be deployed on the EU Loop C service between Asia and Europe.
The port rotation is: Rotterdam, Hamburg, Southampton, Singapore, Shekou, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Southampton and back to Rotterdam in a 70-day round trip.
