Barone 'a Handful' in Court

George Barone was a government witness, but the 85-year old former mob killer and onetime International Longshoremen's Association official apparently gave prosecutors a rough time during his two days of testimony in the racketeering trial of reputed Genovese mob capo Michael Coppola.

Barone testified against Coppola, whose indictment includes accusations of murder and extortion of ILA Local 1235 in Newark from 1974 to 2007. Here's how Barone's testimony was reported in the New York Daily News and New York Post.
