Weber Logistics Names Steve Buckman Vice President of Operations

Santa Fe Springs, CA, April 24, 2014 – Weber Logistics, a leading third party logistics company, today announced the appointment of logistics industry veteran, Steve Buckman, as its new vice president of operations. Buckman will report to Weber’s CEO, Harry Drajpuch, and be responsible for operations at Weber’s distribution centers throughout the Western U.S.

According to Drajpuch, “Steve brings a level of experience and perspective to the job that few in the industry can match. During his career, he has been involved in every facet of logistics, including legal, information systems, finance, human resources and, of course, warehouse operations. Our customers and associates will all benefit from this broad logistics understanding.”

Buckman’s focus at Weber will be on driving operational rigor across all distribution centers and supporting the company’s expanding business in eCommerce and omni-channel fulfillment.

Prior to joining Weber, Buckman was VP of Operations for third party logistics provider, Kane Is Able, where he had P&L and operations responsibility for a national distribution center network. Prior to his operations assignment, Buckman was VP of Administrative Services for KANE with responsibility for human resources, finance, purchasing, and risk management. He has also held management roles with May Company, Wyoming Valley Healthcare and Penn Traffic.
