UPS today announced a new express air freight service, UPS Worldwide Express Freight, for time-sensitive international heavyweight shipments.
The service is an extension of the UPS Worldwide Express package portfolio. Customers can now ship pallets of more than 150 pounds from 37 origins to 41 destinations, including overnight shipping from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the Americas to the U.S., and two-day shipping to Europe from the Asia-Pacific region, the U.S. and the Americas.
Customers in industrial manufacturing, automotive, high tech, retail and healthcare segments in particular requested the service, Ed Buckley, UPS president of marketing, said in a written statement.
