Traffic Club of Chicago Co-Sponsors Luncheon With MARS Wednesday, January 23, 2013

CHICAGO — The Traffic Club of Chicago, one of the nation’s oldest and finest transportation associations, will co-sponsor a luncheon on January 23, 2013 as part of the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers’ (MARS) winter meeting.

MARS will host a two-day meeting on January 23–24 at the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort, in Oak Brook, Illinois. The theme is “2013–What’s on the Horizon?” 

The Traffic Club and MARS have a tradition of co-hosting the luncheon on the first day of the winter meeting. This year’s keynote speaker for the joint event will be James Hertwig, president and CEO, of Florida East Coast Railway (FEC). His presentation is titled “Trucks and Trains Join Forces—Midwest Shippers Improve Profitability In and Out of the South.”
