FedEx today opened its new South Pacific Regional Hub in Singapore, officiated by Minister of Transport Lui Tuck Yew.
The 282,700-square-foot integrated facility is FedEx’s largest in the Asia-Pacific region and houses air, ground and on-site clearance operations provided by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority and Singapore Customs.
The S$97 million (approximately US$78.7 million) facility is located within the Air Cargo Express Hub at Singapore Changi Airport, supplying the Singapore market and serving as a transshipment point for shipments in and out of Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asian countries like Laos and Cambodia.
