YRC Logistics Selected as 2009 Logistics Partner of the Year by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 18, 2010 -- YRC Logistics, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW), has been named a 2009 “Logistics Partner of the Year” by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. for the company’s dedication and excellence as a logistics solutions partner.
The recognition is awarded annually by Samsung Electronics to its top logistics partners. YRC Logistics was one of seven companies worldwide to receive the most recent award, but the only logistics provider in North America with top honors. Honorees were recognized at the Samsung Global Logistics Forum held in Seoul, South Korea.

Companies considered for the Partner of the Year award are selected based on supply chain metrics and key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, returns processing, inventory accuracy, and logistics innovation. This is the first year YRC Logistics has received the award.
