-- FedEx Freight''s guarantee covers all charges for standard regional and interregional service shipments rated on the FXF 100 tariff throughout the continental United States. It covers all freight-related charges, and refunds must be applied for online or by telephone within 15 days of the delivery date. Missed pickups are excluded. A shipment is considered on time if it arrives before 11:59 on the required delivery date when the recipient is open.

-- Con-Way''s guarantee covers all line-haul charges, including fuel surcharges, for shipments moving to all directly served points in the United States and Canada under Tariff CNWY-599 (for other tariffs, the Con-Way Guaranteed! program is still available for a 20 percent premium). Shippers will continue to receive their negotiated discount. Pickup must occur by 5 p.m. local time. Refund requests must be filed within seven days of the scheduled delivery and must be filed only by the debtor and only via Con-Way''s website. No refunds are given "when completion is not possible due to acts of God, enemies of the state, acts of nature or actions of the shipper or consignee," according to the carrier.

-- USF''s guarantee covers line-haul charges for all USF Premier regional service shipments under tariff USF502 base rates with their five LTL subsidiaries: USF Bestway, USF Dugan, USF Holland, USF Reddaway and USF Redstar. Pickup must occur by 5 p.m. Shippers do not have to apply, the company says.
