CFO Taylor to Leave YRC Worldwide

CFO Taylor to Leave YRC Worldwide

YRC Worldwide Chief Financial Officer Sheila Taylor will leave the troubled trucking giant March 31 as it attempts to recruit new leadership and restructure its finances.

A member of the $4.3 billion company's board, William Trubeck, will step into her place as interim executive vice president and CFO, YRC Worldwide said Monday.

Taylor's departure was announced a week after YRC Worldwide reached an agreement with its lenders and the Teamsters union on its financial restructuring.

The agreement set a July deadline for the financial restructuring and deferred certain interest payments and fees due to the company's lenders until July as well.

Taylor also leaves as YRC seeks a replacement for William D. Zollars, who is expected to retire as chairman, president and CEO after the restructuring.

Trubeck is a former CFO at H&R Block, Waste Management and International Multi-Foods. He has been a member of YRC Worldwide's board of directors since 1994.
