REVOLUTION'S FAR FROM OVER

REVOLUTION'S FAR FROM OVER

nd you thought computers had revolutionized your office.

Some of the items on display at last week's huge Housewares Show in Chicago indicate there's still a lot of room for revolution, much of it in your home. For example, Reuters reports, there's a microwave that can download and automatically follow recipes from the Internet. There's the Breath Alert, which measures how bad your breath is. There's the Fit Scan, which measures your body fat with electronic signals.

And still in the development stages is Thalia - a computer that can monitor and integrate everything for everyone in your home, from their blood pressure to their daily schedules.
