Container Throughput Falls at India’s Major Ports

The number of containers shipped via major ports in India slipped 4 percent year-over-year in the first 10 months of fiscal year 2013-14, but overall cargo tonnage inched up 1.4 percent, according to the latest traffic data released by the Indian Ports Association.
