Performance Team proudly announces the hire of Steve Belardi as Director of Operations
Santa Fe Springs, California, May 17, 2010 –Performance Team, one of the nation's leading 3PL providers, announced today that Mr. Steve Belardi, a 20 year logistics industry veteran with extensive experience managing multi-functional distribution centers and logistic networks, has joined the company as Director of Operations.
Mr. Belardi brings a proven record of improved worker productivity and accuracy through the implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) as well as voice technology and labor management solutions. His experience includes director and vice president positions in the wholesale, grocery, and retail sectors as well as financial positions in the defense industry. He most recently spent the last eight years transforming the logistic network of specialty retailer, Sport Chalet, into a Best in Class supply chain. Steve will be called upon to help Performance Team realize similar benefits and further improve their distribution systems and operational efficiencies.
Mr. Belardi possesses a BA and MBA from California State University, Fullerton in the field of Operations Management and will work at the Performance Team corporate office in Santa Fe Springs, California.
