Norman C. Chambers Appointed Chairman of U.S. Chamber’s Let’s Rebuild America Initiative
WASHINGTON D.C.— The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Let’s Rebuild America (LRA) initiative announced today the appointment of Mr. Norman C. Chambers, to the newly-created position of Chairman of the LRA Leadership Council, for a two year term effective immediately.
“Norm’s unwavering advocacy for the need to modernize, expand and maintain our nation's infrastructure makes him an ideal Chairman for this initiative,” said Janet Kavinoky, executive director for Transportation and Infrastructure at the U.S. Chamber and leader of the LRA initiative.
Chambers is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Office of NYSE-listed NCI Building Systems, Inc., one of North America’s largest integrated manufacturers of metal products for the non-residential building industry, with manufacturing facilities across the Unites States. Initially joining the company’s board of directors in 2003, Mr. Chambers took on his current responsibilities in 2004 and has led the growth and integration of NCI’s business segments, as well as its development of energy efficient building products, including insulated metal panels and retro-fit roofing modules.
The Let’s Rebuild America (LRA) initiative is dedicated to raising the profile of infrastructure issues, broadening stakeholder engagement, and developing new opportunities for businesses to influence public policy and create jobs.

During his 35 years of business experience in the global engineering and construction industries, Chambers has become intimately familiar with domestic and international transportation and supply chain issues and recognizes the dependence of a strong economy on a well-financed and modernized national infrastructure network.
