(METAIRIE, LA) - Recently, the South Louisiana Chapter of the National Safety Council (NSC) presented Dupré Logistics with the Occupational Safety Award of Merit for 2 million to 4 million hours worked. The award, which was presented during the 59th Annual Meeting and The Clem Buckman Occupational and Fleet Safety Awards Banquet, reflects doubled productivity on the part of Dupré Logistics when compared to years past.
"Being the recipient of this award for many years demonstrates our ongoing commitment to safe service," Dupré Logistics Director of Safety and Security Al LaCombe said. "This recognition means a lot to our team, whose dedication to safety is part of everything they do."
The South Louisiana Chapter of the NSC's mission is to promote accident prevention in all fields of safety through education and proper means as well as through assistance to all involved in accident prevention.
