TRADE MISSIONS

TO THE UNITED STATES/CANADAGUATEMALA. Through May 2. A 20-member Guatemalan business mission will visit New Orleans to promote trade with Guatemala. Memebers include manufacturers of miniature ceramics; importers of lard, wheat and other food products; and representatives of distributors, joint-venture interests and maquiladora/ production-sharing operations in Guatemala. FROM THE UNITED STATES/CANADA

INDIA. Through May 4. The U.S. Department of Commerce will sponsor a mission to New Delhi, Bangalore and Bombay. The mission is limited to 10 U.S. aerospace firms. Contact John L. Wolf, mission coordinator, at the Commerce Department at (202) 377-2835.

EGYPT, SAUDI ARABIA AND IRAQ. May 14-28. The U.S. Department of Commerce is sponsoring a trade mission to Cairo, Jeddah, Riyadh and Baghdad to visit civilian and military aerospace leaders in the participating countries. BELGIUM AND NETHERLANDS. June 11-15. The International Trade Administration, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is holding a matchmaker conference for U.S. businesses interested in doing business in Western Europe. June 11-12, Brussels; June 13-15, Amsterdam. Matchmaker participants meet with business and government officials and hold individual appointments tailored to their business interests.
