CMA CGM will launch of a new service this month connecting Asia, the Fiji Islands and New Zealand effective July 18.
Named ANZEX, the new weekly service will start on July 18, with a rotation of seven ships of 1,800 20-foot equivalent units each.
The French carrier said the new service, which will have enhanced reefer capacity, will be the only service that calls two ports on New Zealand’s North Island and two ports on the South Island.
The planned port rotation is: Port Kelang, Chiwan, Shanghai, Busan, Suva, Auckland, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Tauranga, Noumea and back to Port Kelang.
