EX-IM BANK TO EXTEND

CREDIT COVER TO POLANDThe U.S. Export-Import Bank announced that it is ready to extend short-term credit insurance on U.S. exports to Poland.

The insurance, it said, will be for sales to either private- or public- sector Polish buyers of U.S. goods and services.

The bank said its program will complement the proposed $200 million trade credit insurance program authorized by last year's Support for East European Democracy Act.

EAST BLOC SALES PACT

HASTING, Minn. - Micro Display Systems Inc. said it signed an agreement with an international distributor for exclusive sales and service of its The Genius high resolution full- and dual-page display systems in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union.

Micro Display declined to name the distributor but noted the company has relationships with East Bloc companies that provide sales and service functions for IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Fluke related products.

BLASS APPAREL IN USSR

PHILADELPHIA - The Atrun Group announced that it will represent Bill Blass men's apparel for distribution in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

The company will be responsible for establishing distribution channels, arranging retail outlets and coordinating the repatriation of profits.

The Atrun Group, a Philadelphia-based international trade consultant,special izes in trade with the East bloc. It recently announced a joint venture with Radiotehnika, the second-largest manufacturer of electronic goods in the Soviet Union, to set up Western-style electronics stores that will also carry Western products.
