Miami- The Miami office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Robert M. Kritzman as a partner in the firm's corporate practice. Kritzman joins K&L Gates from Epstein Becker & Green, P.C.

Focusing his practice on corporate, maritime, and international law, Kritzman counsels clients on such matters as mergers and acquisitions; cross-border transactions; bank financings; ship sale, construction, and finance transactions; and travel and leisure industry affairs. He also advises boards on corporate governance matters, develops corporate compliance programs, and counsels international clients on establishing and growing their U.S. business operations.

Kritzman previously spent 15 years managing the legal affairs of Norwegian Cruise Lines, serving as general counsel to the 15,000-employee international corporation. His move to K&L Gates strengthens a global practice with more than 35 years of experience in maritime law and follows several other recent additions bolstering the firm's international capabilities to handle maritime matters.

Robert brings a wealth of legal experience and business acumen, especially in the cruise and shipping industries, that will greatly benefit our clients, said Dan Casey, Administrative Partner of K&L Gates' Miami office.

K&L Gates Chairman and Global Managing Partner Peter J. Kalis said: With Robert's arrival, K&L Gates' Miami office and our firmwide maritime practice take another step forward.
