Founded in 1933 with headquarters in Miami, Florida, the company reported 2013 revenue of $6.3 billion, up 3 percent year-over-year. The company also recorded a net income of $238 million, up 13 percent from the previous year’s net income of $210 million.

Ryder System and its key segments — Ryder Fleet Management Solutions, Ryder Supply Chain Solutions, and Ryder dedicated — employ 28,900 individuals worldwide and operate a fleet of nearly 30,000 vehicles, one of the largest in the industry.
