China Logistics Expects China-South America Volume to Double

China Logistics Group expects shipping volume on its South American route out of Shanghai to double in 2013.

The international freight forwarder and logistics management company began offering freight forwarding services from China to destinations in South America in March 2012. Freight forwarding services to Brazil and Argentina out of Shanghai moved 3,000 20-foot-equivalent units in 2012, with revenue of about $720,000 and gross profit of $139,000.

In 2013, management expects the route’s volume to be at least 6,000 TEUs with revenue of more than $1.4 million.
