Carrier Transicold UK Awards Service Partner Status to Cornwall Refrigerated Transport Services

WARRINGTON, United Kingdom - Carrier Transicold UK is strengthening its service network with the appointment of Cornwall Refrigerated Transport Services Ltd (CRTS) – formerly a sub-dealer to Carrier Transicold Southern – as a full service partner, handling the installation, repair and maintenance of its transport refrigeration units throughout the county. Carrier Transicold helps improve global transport and shipping temperature control with a complete line of equipment for refrigerated trucks, trailers and containers, and is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Now operating under the name of Carrier Transicold Cornwall, CRTS will continue to serve customers from its 2,000 ft² workshop in Bodmin.

CRTS began as a one-man operation in October 1999, set-up in the garage of managing director, Tim Edwards. Today, the company employs five mobile service engineers and owns premises located adjacent to the A30 – the main arterial road through Cornwall.

Carrier Transicold Cornwall adds to the 22-strong network of service partners throughout the UK – including more than 180 mobile engineers – which manage the installation, service and repair of temperature controlled equipment fitted to vans, trucks and trailers.
