RUBBERMAID DEVELOPS

LINE OF RECYCLING BINS

AKRON, Ohio - Rubbermaid Inc. has come up with a line of recycling bins, the latest shipper to lend a hand in cleaning up the environment.

Partly made from recycled plastic, the bins act as collection containers for other recyclables, the company said.

Emblazoned with the name and emblem of participating cities, the containers are now being used in New York City; Binghamton, N.Y.; San Diego; and Indianapolis, Ind.

Rubbermaid also uses recycled plastic for some of its products, such as a mop wringer made from recycled battery containers.
