Project exporters group elects officers

The Exporters Competitive Maritime Council has elected a new slate of officers.

Serving in 2004 are: Greg Gowans (Alstom Power) as chairman; James Cook (Black & Veatch) as president; Dan Novakovich (Air Products) as vice president; Thomas Griffin (Transoceanic Shipping Co.) as secretary, and David Fox (Fluor Corp.) as treasurer.

The ECMC, based in New York, was formed in 1998 to represent the interests of U.S. exporters and suppliers with regard to project cargo shipments.
