CSXT, NIT League to meet on service concerns

Executives from CSX Transportation and the National Industrial Transportation League plan to hold a forum June 10 in Atlanta to review the railroad's performance, present plans to improve sluggish service, and field shippers' questions and address problems.

The meeting follows a similar one held last month by Union Pacific and the NIT League in San Francisco to air shippers' service gripes.

Slated to attend are CSX Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive and CSXT President Michael Ward, CSXT Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Tony Ingram, CSXT Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Clarence Gooden, and NITL President John Ficker.
