CNF elects Kennedy interim CEO

CNF Inc. elected W. Keith Kennedy as interim chief executive on Monday, replacing Gregory L. Quesnel, who is retiring.

Kennedy will take over on June 30. He will continue as chairman and head of the search committee for a permanent chief executive, the company said.

Quesnel said in February that he planned to retire this summer, according to CNF.

CNF, based in Palo Alto, Calif., provides businesses with freight forwarding, trucking and supply chain management services. The company earned $9.2 million in 2003.
