Glen Allen, Virginia – October 12, 2010 – Decisiv, Inc., the provider of an advanced technology that connects fleet managers with internal and external service locations, today announced that Pete Russo, a member of the company’s Board of Advisors, has joined the Decisiv senior management team as Vice President Professional Services and Customer Support. In this new role, Russo will head strategy and product planning, as well as customer support, which encompasses professional services and implementations.

“We are very pleased to have Pete Russo join our senior management team,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. “As an advisor to Decisiv for the last two years, he has made considerable contributions. In addition, Russo’s previous roles managing very large technology projects and formulating market and product strategies in the telecommunications services market will be a great addition to Decisiv as we continue to scale our business.”

In his career, Russo has served at BT (formerly British Telecom) and Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bell Communications Research). Russo’s history with Decisiv began two years ago when he was asked to help guide future product development for fleet customers as a member of the Decisiv Board of Advisors.

“I was immediately impressed with the Decisiv Service Management Platform (DSMP), and especially with its position in the heavy truck service management market,” Russo stated. “The rapid progress Decisiv has made evolving to provide cloud computing technology to fleets, service providers, manufacturers and OEMs is essentially transforming how service management is handled in this industry. I look forward to joining the senior management team and to helping accelerate Decisiv's growth by providing innovative solutions to the industry and related market segments.”
