Norway-based G2 Ocean, a dry cargo shipping joint venture between Gearbulk and Grieg Star, operates about 130 ships, including the world’s largest fleet of open hatch gantry crane and jib crane vessels, mainly focused on transporting pulp and forest products, and aluminum. Its core fleet of ships gives G2 Ocean flexibility to interchange vessels for quick response to customers’ needs. Specialized vessels cater to specific needs such as extreme heat.
