Ahoy. Managing Editor Bill Cassidy had hoped to see the famous schooner Bluenose II when in Halifax, Nova Scotia, last month. Instead, he had to settle for Theodore Too, the life-size and seaworthy replica of Theodore Tugboat, Canada''s answer to Thomas the Tank Engine. Halifax is home port to the 65-foot tug, which is billed as the "world''s only oceangoing character boat." Theodore Too follows the Canadian geese south for the winter, visiting ports in the eastern United States from November through April. During the summer, the ship hosts harbor tours. Cassidy preferred a dockside seat, where he could count containers on passing ships while enjoying a Schooner (beer).
