Japan Airlines’ Profit Nosedives

Japan Airlines Corp. (JAL) said on July 31 that its net profit tumbled 31.9 percent in the first quarter of fiscal 2013, which started on April 1, from a year earlier, to 18.337 billion yen ($187.11 million) on a consolidated basis.
