American Airlines’ Cargo Rose 5.7 Percent in July

The parent of American Airlines, AMR Corp., reported July cargo figures for its principal subsidiary, showing an increase to 154,124 million ton miles, up 5.7 percent from 145,833 million tons miles reported in July 2012.

For the first seven months of 2013, ton miles dropped to 1.03 million, a 1.2 percent decrease from the 1.05 million reported for the same period in the previous year.
