ON DEMAND: Annual Review and Outlook: Maritime and Trucking

Maritime and trucking shippers are heading on divergent paths. While growth in capacity has outpaced growth in demand on the ocean side — and will again in 2013 — trucking companies are displaying restraint, choosing to manage capacity and shed money-losing freight. As 2013 begins, however, both transportation modes face their share of risks: a stuttering U.S. economy, recession in Europe, economic slowing in Asia, potentially restrictive new U.S. regulations and high fuel costs.

This webcast will analyze the issues, challenges and opportunities that will help define the year ahead for trucking and ocean carriers, and the shippers who use them.
