Austin, Texas-based express carrier Lone Star Overnight now has overnight parcel delivery to every ZIP code in Texas.

“Achieving full coverage of our home state marks a critical milestone in the aggressive expansion project we began last year,” said LSO President and CEO Ed DiSalvo. “In spite of the challenging economic conditions, our company achieved new records for growth and revenue in 2008, and we continue to add new shippers due to our expansion and demand for our reliable, efficient overnight delivery service at a lower price.”

Effective March 4, LSO package weight limits are increased to 150 pounds from 70 pounds in response to customer demand. LSO is also planning to introduce a multi-package shipment rating option and expand coverage in Oklahoma in the second half of 2009.
