U.S. diesel prices rose for the second week straight, climbing 2.5 cents in the week ending Jan. 28.
The average price, $3.927, is 7.7 cents higher than a year ago and up 1.6 cents from the beginning of the year, according to the Energy Information Administration. Prices rose across the country, with the Rocky Mountain region seeing the sharpest increase. Prices in the region rose 5.8 cents to $3.736 per gallon.
