The Journal of Commerce and SJ Consulting Group annually rank the largest less-than-truckload carriers by revenue and track the sector’s economic recovery. In 2012, the largest U.S. and Canadian LTLs hit a speed bump, with annualized revenue growth slowing from 12 percent to 4.5 percent. Stronger freight demand and more stability could push that number up this year.
